Monday 3 September 2018: Pentland Brands Limited, the company behind global brand names such as Speedo, Mitre, Canterbury, Boxfresh and Berghaus, has announced the appointment of Simon Breckon as the new Brand Director of ellesse.

The ellesse team has launched Monica’s Story – a content-led social media campaign that focuses on the different stages of ellesse ambassador Monica Puig’s journey to the Olympic Gold medal.

Last night, ellesse ambassador Monica Puig was presented the ANOC Award for Best Female Athlete at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, for her incredible journey to the gold medal in the Women’s Tennis Singles event.

Ellesse ambassador Feliciano Lopez and his doubles partner Marc Lopez won the French Open at Roland Garros on Saturday for their first Grand Slam doubles title.
