The ellesse team has launched Monica’s Story – a content-led social media campaign that focuses on the different stages of ellesse ambassador Monica Puig’s journey to the Olympic Gold medal.
In the first video of the four-part series, Monica recalls her first introduction to tennis, and the people and experiences that influenced her in the early days of her career.
Combining archive content from Monica’s childhood and early tennis career with specially made footage and an interview filmed in London, the result is an engaging and informative awareness piece, raising the profile of Monica and the ellesse brands, also reinforcing the brand values.
Initial reception of the first video has been incredibly promising, with over 55,000 views on Facebook, as well as an amazing 5,000 engagements.
Our partners in international markets have amplified the activation on their own channels. Key tennis media, including Tennis Head, who featured the video on their homepage, have also picked up on the series.
