The Little Things in Life: Berghaus unveils Dean Street’s 4th edit

Returning for its fourth season, the Spring/Summer Berghaus Dean Street collection celebrates a new shift in the brand’s relationship with nature, featuring Berghaus MADEKIND™ fabrics throughout and a free repair commitment from the brand.

Titled ‘The Little Things in Life’ and produced with Orienteer Mapazine, the campaign captures those much-needed breaks outside that many have held so closely over this past year. A host of faces from creative industries are featured, who have found joy, comfort, and inspiration from spending more time in their local nature spots.

Friends and photographers, Olivia Jankowska and Zaineb Abelque, who feature in the campaign, said: “Getting out, exploring the outdoors and uniting people together after the past year has really highlighted the positive impact spending time in nature has on our mental health. We’ve taken these adventures outside as an opportunity to heal our mental wellbeing together.”

Building on the Berghaus ethos of inspiring more people to get out into nature, SS21 Dean Street’s playful but practical designs blend a sporty aesthetic with its authentic outdoor-wear credentials. The collection updates archive gems with two distinct colour concepts; one made from collegiate green and navy tones, the other a playful, positive combination of pink and blue power pastels. Bold prints are blended with contemporary graphics on several brand-new styles including a lightweight windbreaker and cropped fleeces.

With a rich back-catalogue of iconic designs, creativity has always been at the heart of Berghaus. Performance waterproofs, the Tempest 89 jacket and Ski Smock 86 are just two pieces from the Dean Street collection that lean into designs from years past, using archived Berghaus design notes, signature colour blocking and technical expertise to create new pieces for today’s style-conscious nature seeker.

Always working towards a greener future, every Berghaus piece comes with the offer of a free repair, helping to keep kit going over land not into it. Several styles in the full collection are also part of the Berghaus MADEKIND™ commitment, meaning that fabrics are made using recycled materials or environmentally friendly dyeing processes.

The Dean Street collection will launches on 17th May and is available on Berghaus.com, ASOS and Oi Polloi.
