Last week Pentland Brands took home the award for ‘Best Project’ for the Canterbury Rugby World Cup campaign ‘BE PART OF IT’, at the Inside Out Awards held in London.
The awards recognise in-house creative agencies for their creativity, originality and collaboration, as well as business impact. The Awards are the only UK awards to celebrate in-house design teams, earning them the recognition they deserve within the design community.
‘BE PART OF IT’ is Canterbury’s biggest ever global brand campaign, and it brought to life the inclusivity and togetherness of the rugby community in the build-up to the recent Rugby World Cup in Japan.
National Trust, MediaCom and PWC were just a few of the companies that were shortlisted in the category, highlighting the strength of the campaign win.
James Benn, Senior Art Director said “In-house creative agencies often get overlooked in main industry awards, so it’s such an honour to be recognised in this way.
“Great work happens when there’s mutual respect and trust between all involved. It’s been a huge team effort and a great way to top off a complex 13 month cross-functional collaboration.”
The Pentland Creative team were joined by members of the Pentland Communications and brand teams, to celebrate the award win.
As well as a win in the category for ‘Best Project’, the creative agency was also shortlisted for the ‘Best Example of Internal Collaboration’ award, for the Canterbury ‘BE PART OF IT” Rugby World Cup Campaign. And a big congratulations to Junior Designer, Kate Stapleton, for being shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star’ award.
