Five-time Olympic medallist Missy Franklin has become the latest ambassador for the world’s leading swimwear brand, Speedo.

As part of Team Speedo the American swimming star will share her love of the water to inspire others to enjoy the benefits of swimming for fitness and health. Missy will also act as a brand advocate for Speedo’s entire product portfolio, from competitive suits, caps and goggles to swimsuits and accessories, designed specifically for fitness swimming.

Franklin is a five time medallist, winning gold in four events at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and setting a World Record in 200-metre Backstroke, at age 17. She also won gold and broke the world record as part of the 4×100-meter medley relay team. In 2013, Franklin became the most-decorated female swimmer in history at a single World Championships, winning six gold medals at the event in Barcelona.
