Kickers launch Confetti Crowd collaboration to celebrate Female Empowerment

This Sunday, on International Women’s DayKickers launch their collaboration with Confetti Crowd, an influencer collective who share in the brand’s mission to promote self-expression and creativity. 

Confetti Crowd are renowned for their rainbow styling and focus on female empowerment, which comes to life in Kickers’ newest style, the Kizziie. The Kizziie range is introduced for SS20 and is inspired by the classic kick hi, but with a chunkier sole, and more attitude.  

The Confetti Kizziie Qween Boot is the first vegan-friendly style from Kickers and includes details such as ‘You look cute today’ printed on the inside label and the iconic Kickers detachable fleurette updated with ‘Boss Girl’. The buckles are multi coloured in true Confetti Crowd style for a playful take on original details. The boots are available in two colourways,  

Launching on International Women’s Day, the collaboration is in partnership with the Young Women’s Trust where 10% of all sales will be donated to the feminist organisation. The Trust campaigns for economic justice for young women, with over a million young women in the UK being unemployed or struggling to survive on low paid, insecure work.

The Trust offers support and free services to all young women aged 18-30, by developing their skill-sets and building strong mental health foundations. Kickers are proud to support this charity and the incredible work that they do. 

A launch event was held with Tower London. Inspired by female empowerment, there was an all-female security team and DJ sets from @stormyj_music and @yo_djmel. There was also an ‘inspirational women’ section where you could find out about amazing small businesses founded by women, information on how they got into their roles, tips for success and how to get involved including. Participants included: Jade-Clark, Neptune Girls, Luminary Bakery and our charity partner the Young Women’s trust.

The Young Women’s Trust were present on the night and a raffle was held, with all proceeds going to the organisation, cue confetti cannons!
