We are now seeking an experienced Leadership and Skills development professional to join our dynamic team on a permanent basis in London. As our Senior Manager for Leadership & Skills Development, you will be accountable for designing and implementing learning strategies to improve the skills and performance of Pentland employees. You will develop and manage a skills development plan that aligns with the strategic goals and objectives of the organisation as well as equipping individuals to perform well in their roles. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing the current and future skills needs of the organisation or and identifying any gaps or opportunities for improvement through skills development solutions
  • Designing and managing the delivery of effective and engaging learning and development programmes, such as workshops, e-learning, seminars, coaching, mentoring, etc.
  • Manage and evolve the company’s LMS so that it meets the needs of the organisation and functional skill requirements.
  • Evaluating the impact and outcomes of the skills development programmes, and ensuring they meet the quality standards and expectations of the stakeholders and effectively develop skills across Pentland.
  • Managing the skills development budget and resources, ensuring the optimal use of internal and external partners and providers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as senior management, employees, partners, industry bodies, etc.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in skills development and ensuring the organisation keeping pace with learning and skill building approaches.

Relevant experience / qualifications

  • Leadership and management development content and delivery
  • Instructional learning design experience in developing (Face to face courses, E-learning and digital content, Experience of coaching development, collaborative learning design development with senior leaders and key stakeholders)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience of working in a global, matrix environment
