The Senior HRIS Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day support, maintenance, and optimization of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). This role acts as the subject matter expert for HR technology, ensuring the system meets the business needs of the organization. The Senior HRIS Analyst will collaborate with HR, IT, and other departments to drive system enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and develop reports and data analytics that support HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
HRIS Administration & Support
- Maintain and configure HRIS modules (SAP SuccessFactors - Employee Central, LMS, Compensation etc... ).
- Provide ongoing technical support to HR teams and other system users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and maintaining system security protocols.
- Manage HRIS upgrades and system updates in coordination with IT and software vendors.
System Optimization & Process Improvement
- Identify and recommend enhancements to improve system functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
- Lead or participate in HR system projects such as system implementations, integrations, and customizations.
- Develop workflows and automation for HR processes (e.g., onboarding, performance evaluations).
- Collaborate with IT, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure smooth integration and data flow between systems.
Training & Documentation
- Develop training materials and provide system training to HR teams and end-users.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including process guides, user manuals, and technical specifications.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure the HRIS complies with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security standards.
- Assist with audits related to HR data and reporting requirements.
- Implement controls to ensure accurate and timely HR data processing.
Project Management
- Lead or support HRIS projects from initiation to implementation, including scoping, planning, execution, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful project delivery, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience working with SuccessFactors HRIS system.
- Experience in data analysis and HR reporting.
- Experience with system implementations and upgrades.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in HRIS platforms, with the ability to configure, troubleshoot, and optimize systems.
- Proficient in Excel, data manipulation, and reporting tools.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other data analytics tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with system integrations (API knowledge is beneficial).
