We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Marketing Manager to join our team at Berghaus, a proud member of Pentland Brands. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving the Retail Marketing strategy, translating business priorities into compelling retail engagement plans. Your mission will be to elevate the visibility of the Berghaus brand across key retail partners, ensuring a seamless and impactful presence in the competitive retail landscape.


The role you’d play:


Strategic Ownership:


  • Develop and own the Retail Marketing Plan, taking charge of the deployment of all go-to-market (GTM) retail marketing projects.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial teams and regional counterparts to align strategies, supporting effective sell-ins through impactful retail marketing initiatives.


Partner Engagement:


  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key retail partners and agencies, ensuring the Berghaus brand stands out as best-in-class across crucial retail touchpoints.
  • Identify optimal opportunities with key retail account partners, creating tailored GTM plans to enhance brand visibility and drive sell-through.


Project Management:


  • Manage end-to-end retail projects, from initial brief to execution, prioritizing projects and developing timelines to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality retail marketing initiatives.


Continuous Improvement:


  • Act as the primary interface between retail partners, brand marketing, and other functional stakeholders, working towards the continuous improvement of retail marketing capabilities throughout the entire process.


Shopper-Centric Approach:


  • Champion the shopper and customer experience by developing a deep understanding of in-store needs.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to enhance the retail consumer journey, ensuring a best-in-class retail experience for our customers.


Financial Management:


  • Define retail marketing investment levels and take ownership of managing the annual retail marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources for maximum impact.

  • Outdoor curious. Category expertise isn’t a must. Moreso, a willingness to show that you get the product lifecycle which we work to is more important.

Pentland Brands are moving their London Hub to Farringdon in 2024. If your This role is initially based in our current London Hub based in Finchley you’re the normal place of work for this role shall be automatically redesignated to that location.
