WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?

Acting as a support to the Head of Product Merchandising with close links to the EMEA commercial teams & Berghaus brand & product teams you will build, brief, forecast and deliver successful ranges for our Berghaus EMEA Strategic Customers. You will be working cross functionally to make sure we have the right product, right time in context of our customer and consumer needs.  Always looking at the world through a data driven lens to ensure we are clear on expectation, drive productivity and support our ambitious market plans for the Berghaus brand in the European region.

WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?

As our Product Merchandiser you will be responsible for:

Building & briefing Berghaus Exclusives & SMU line plans for our strategic customers:

• Lead the co-creation of successful line plans and product briefs
• Partner with our commercial team to deliver co-creation sessions, pre-lines & sell-in meetings

Creating future-focussed, multi-season product plans aligned to the Berghaus global product strategy:

• Build product flow plans maximising right product, right time, right place for our strategic customers

Embedding a data driven approach, delivering playback analysis & a robust lesson learned process for all key functions which shapes the forward plan.

Owning key merchandising KPI metrics including sales revenue, gross margin, SCO efficiency and product adoption & execution measures.

WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE

You might be our next superstar if you have the following skills and experience:

• High numeracy levels with a keen eye for detail
• Effective communication and excellent collaborator, confident leading cross-functional teams and dealing with colleagues & customers at all levels including management
• Previous experience within Product Management / Product Merchandising / Project Management functions
• Commercially aware to maximise sales and profit opportunities
• Use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience of working in a sports / outdoor apparel business an advantage
• Line management experience an advantage, but not essential
