Reporting into the Customer Operations Manager, the Customer Operations Team Leader is responsible for managing a team of Customer Operations Executives to service a portfolio of accounts and brand(s) within the DACH channel whilst ensuring that an optimal level of support is given to internal stakeholders and our customers.

 

About the role: 

 

  • Drive exemplary service within Pentland Brands.
  • Collaborate with Key Strategic International Partners.
  • Manage a team of Customer Operations Executives.
  • Oversee order placement, stock allocation, logistics, and distribution.
  • Handle orderbook management and fulfillment.
  • Track and satisfy in-season order requests.
  • Manage cancellations, returns, and export documentation.
  • Provide up-to-date sales and order book information.
  • Communicate changes to customer orders.
  • Conduct data analysis on order book and supply chain.
  • Work with Asia merchandising and shipping teams for export deliveries.
  • Align Salesforce and Pentland Connect across teams.
  • Align team activities with COPS Annual Game Plan.
  • Support personal development aligned with Pentland Principles.

 

About you:

 

  • Fluent in German; other languages advantageous coupled with a background in customer-focused roles and key account sales support.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading a team or as a high performer in an operational role.
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong reporting and analytical abilities.
  • Experience interpreting large data sets and reporting.
  • Experience with cancellations, credits, debits, invoicing, and order processing.
  • Stock and orderbook management skills.
  • Management of global accounts, multinational distributors, and retailers.
  • Preferable knowledge of export procedures and documentation.
  • Familiarity with online retail/distribution management.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems is advantageous.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
