On Thursday 30th of June, Ted Baker was awarded Men’s Fashion Brand of the Year and International Footwear Brand of the Year at the Drapers Footwear Awards 2016. Kickers was named Kid’s Footwear Brand of the Year and Butterfly Twists Most Improved Brand of the Year.
The prestigious annual event celebrates outstanding industry performance, innovation and creativity. This is the third year in a row that the Ted and Kickers have won awards.

The award recognises the best men’s fashion footwear brand operating in the UK market today. Judges were looking for a strong brand ethos throughout the business, innovative and fashion forward product, solid sales performance, prompt deliveries, customer service and inventive marketing activity.
Ted Baker – International Business of the Year
The award recognises a UK-registered brand, or retailer that has demonstrated significant growth in export markets in footwear and who has done most to enhance the reputation of British innovation and excellence.
Kickers – Kid’s Brand of the Year
The award recognises the best kid’s footwear brand operating in the UK market today. Judges were looking for a strong brand ethos throughout the business, innovative and fashion forward product, solid sales performance, prompt deliveries, customer service and inventive marketing activity.
Butterfly Twists – Most Improved Brand of the Year
The award recognises the most improved brand operating in the UK market today, across men’s footwear, women’s footwear, kid’s footwear and sports footwear. Judges looked for evidence for the brand’s vast improvement over the last 12 months across product, sales performance, customer service and marketing activity.
