On Wednesday 20th April, Berghaus HQ and the renovation project team won an award for the ‘Best office fit out in Northern England at the British Council Offices (BCO) Awards 2016.

The BCO are on a mission to research, develop and communicate best practice in all aspects of the office sector.

Rock Townsend architects and Pentland Brands creative director, Katie Greenyer, worked with Berghaus to transform their existing Sunderland HQ into an inspirational, re-invigorated workspace.

The new office supports openness and improves communication between teams. It enhances sustainability and showcases the brand’s technical product innovation, performance and heritage. This fantastic result is testament to great team collaboration. We had a brilliant client champion, passionate and involved stakeholders, a fab designer and lots and lots of hard work! This category awards a space within a building that demonstrates innovation, creativity and a high quality of interior fit-out.

Berghaus HQ, as the Northern regional winner will be entered in to the nationwide competition which will be judged in October 2016.
