Last week Adobe hosted a unique event, in collaboration with Pentland Brands, which saw people from across our business compete in a creative challenge using Adobe software.
The Creative Jam, an event which Adobe organises for businesses all over the world, gave 70 members of the Pentland Brands community the chance to put their creative skills to the test by producing a campaign story and video in just three and a half hours, based on the theme of ‘irresistible product’.
Set in Camden Town, London, teams were provided with an inspiring range of Berghaus products and challenged to represent their diverse and eclectic surroundings in imagery and videos. The winning team was commended for their innovative use of animation and unique take on the different ways a Berghaus rucksack could be used in everyday life.
Adobe also delivered a bootcamp session to help our community get to know their new software – Adobe XD, Rush and Stock. Inspiration was also provided by a fantastic talk by Lee Lapthorne; curator, art director and one of the UK’s leading Fashion and Event Management experts.
Katie Greenyer, Creative Talent and Network Director at Pentland Brands, said: “it was fantastic to see creative people from across our business getting involved in this incredible challenge. We’d like to thank Adobe for hosting our first ever Creative Jam and for providing so much inspiration for our designers. We’re fortunate that we’re able to use our partnership to help our people bring their ideas to life in unique ways and we can’t wait to see them using their new skills!”
Alongside allowing our people to be at the forefront of trialling and testing new design software, our partnership with Adobe is crucial in helping us remain ahead of the game when it comes to design.
Vanessa Dewey, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Adobe said: “The entire day had amazing and inspiring energy – right from the start, the 60+ Pentland creatives were abuzz. It was the largest Creative Jam we’ve hosted in EMEA to date (since the program started in 2018) and the entire day demonstrated the power of inspiring cross collaboration and the power of creativity. As creativity is an ongoing path, I look forward to continuing to work with Pentland in curating future creative events.”
