With online shopping on the up and retailers adapting to an unpredictable retail climate, Pentland Brands has increased its business-to-business (B2B) online offer through its retail platform Pentland Connect.
Retailers can now order products from across the brand portfolio 24/7 and, since its relaunch this month, over 1,200 retailers have now registered to order via the Pentland Connect website. With travel restrictions still in place, it’s a simpler, more efficient way for retailers to purchase effortlessly and safely.
Multiple brands in one place
Pentland Connect transforms traditional methods of ordering by offering multiple brands and product ranges on one intuitive platform. It was initially launched with Mitre, but customers can now order from Canterbury, Speedo, Berghaus and most recently, Kickers – for the Back-to-School season. The platform continues to develop its international credentials, serving retailers across Europe and now looking to expand to the US.
A quicker and easier way to order, anytime, anywhere
Retailers can use Pentland Connect to browse products, view stock availability and manage details before making a purchase. They can also register multiple accounts for their business and Pentland Connect members will be the first to know about new products, ranges and discounts.
An evolving story
Paul Savrimoothoo, UK Commercial Director at Pentland Brands, says, “With ways of working in retail changing rapidly, particularly in the current challenging circumstances, our priority is to make sure we remain agile in developing the best propositions and platforms for our retail partners. It’s great because Pentland Connect gives them more control over how and when they can buy our products and our hope is that, by the end of the year, our full brand portfolio will be available.”
