Palace and Kickers have partnered for a second time to introduce a unique capsule collection that sees Kickers delve deep into the archive and reinvent a classic.
The collection comprises of ‘The Lennon’ – a timeless moccasin style with a chunky sole in three colourways.
Founded in 2009 by Southbank skateboarder Lev Tanju, Palace Skateboards has rapidly become one of the most respected and influential clothing brands on the market. Combining a widely-admired aesthetic sensibility with the anarchic energy of London street skating, Palace has built a formidable global fan-base in their brief history; straddling the worlds of high fashion, streetwear and core skateboarding.
Kickers said: “Following on from the Palace X Kickers collaboration in November, we wanted to launch something truly unique and on trend. The newly released ‘Lennon’ style is a classic Kickers boat shoe that we are re-launching into the UK market, starting with this partnership.
“Palace are at the forefront of the streetwear scene, with a similarly rebellious nature to that of Kickers and we couldn’t be happier to partner with one of our favourite brands once again.”
Palace also commented: “Anyone who’s ever been to school in Britain knows Kickers as a true style institution. Palace are chuffed to be working with them again to put a twist on the Moccasin: a timeless and tasty Kickers classic.”
