Join us at Pentland Brands in Nottingham as a Product Developer, where you'll lead the development of licensed products, focusing on the Canterbury licensed category. Utilize advanced product engineering to ensure optimal cost, quality, reliability, compliance, safety, and speed-to-market.

About the role:

• Creation and translation of all development documentation ensuring clarity and understanding throughout the supply chain ensuring key calendar milestones are achieved.
• Support product manufacture feasibility and product/cost engineering and breakdown analysis to deliver cost management/validation to margin requirements for assigned products.
• Collaborate with category product team to understand and accomplish seasonal product concepts. Participate in fit sessions and product review with product team regarding assigned products, instruct amendments to vendors to ensure prototypes accurately reflect construction specifications.
• Integration of Quality and CI feedback loops – Risk assessment to ensure early identification and input on product construction, testing, regulatory and safety compliance, manufacturing capability and efficiencies.
• Engage with 3D design and development tools and stakeholders to embed new & future ways of working for New Product Development

About you

• Technical product development experience ideally within sports/outdoor apparel.
• Experience of developing products with technical fabrics.
• Knowledge of garment construction methods in multiple fabrications (woven, knit, & engineered knits) and product categories desirable.
• Consumer focused with a strong performance product bias and an inherent technical curiosity.
• A strong team player, with good interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to think creatively, with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with 3D software an asset.
• The ability to operate at pace with flexibility, initiative and be solution orientated.
