Job Title: Credit Control Administration Assistant

The role:

 

Working as the administration support for the EMEA Credit Control team, to ensure timely collections of monies due to Pentland from our customers, as well as providing excellent customer service to the cross functional teams.

 

The role you’d play:

 

+     To be responsible for our monthly direct debit collections across our EMEA.

+     To investigating the reasons why a direct debit has been rejected.

+     To assist with the reconciliation of our proforma payments for our Pentland Connect customers.

+     Take responsibility for the running and sending of our monthly customer statements and dunning letters.

+     Assist with the invoice uploads to our customers supplier portals for our international buying groups.

+     To manage the daily blocked order report for the credit team to investigate.

+     Produce the month end Bad Debt file for all our EMEA Brands

+     To help with the daily management of the credit inbox, providing support with customer invoice and statement requests.

    Releasing blocked credit notes daily.

+     To provide support to the wider credit team as required.

The must haves:

 

+    A sound understanding of Credit Control, with at least 1 years’ experience in a fast-paced industry.

+    Excellent Customer Service and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders

+     Understanding of Accounting platforms such as SAP, Oracle or similar.

+     IT literate, including an intermediate capability with MS Excel
+     Strong process and continuous improvement mindset.

+     Strong attention to detail
+     Ability to work independently, with a confident and resilient attitude.
+     Ability to combine a flexible approach with a desire to “go the extra mile”
+     Be a team player
