Ellesse celebrates 65 years with its LSR sneaker

ellesse has just revealed the campaign for their LSR sneaker, the brand’s luxe new offering which dropped last week.

Marking a step into the luxury fashion space, the LSR is an elevated new sneaker design rooted in ellesse’s archives and rich history as a long-standing Italian sports fashion brand.

The launch of the LSR is accompanied by a campaign featuring model Kit Price, DJ Fiona Zanetti, and content creator D’nieccio, establishing ellesse’s move into the luxury space through the ethos that a moment of escape is a luxury.

Shot in a traditional 20th century Italian villa, the campaign sees the LSR sneaker served on a silver tray by butler Kit Price to a quiet couple (Fiona Zanetti and D’nieccio), the epitome of luxury. The ellesse LSR sneaker is available at a range of worldwide retailers, including Deliberti and La Rinascente in Italy, as well as Bodega and Concepts in the USA.

Celebrating ellesse’s 65th anniversary, the LSR is rooted in the brand’s legacy within sports fashion yet elevated for a modern wardrobe. Inspired by the archive and reimagined for today, the overarching design concept of ellesse’s LSR is derived from one of the brand’s archived pieces: the iconic LASER shoe.

The LSR is available in 11 colourways which can be categorised into four main styles: LUXE, DNA, ARCHIVE, and POP, each featuring unique characteristics. LUXE offers a selection of three LSR colourways in Black, Off-White/Grey, and Off-White/Tomato, each in suede with signature laser deboss lines and a superior non-slip rubber compound.

DNA transforms the LSR into a more future-facing design inspired by the LASER OG, offered in two colourways: White/Royal/Silver and White/Green/Silver. The DNA style features colour and material combinations that channel the OG palette of silver, electric blue, red, and outside green.

Similarly, the LSR’s ARCHIVE style also takes root in ellesse’s LASER OG sneaker but with a more minimal approach, arriving in two colourways: White/Anthracite and White/Red. Finally, POP utilises more pastel colourways, combining hues designed for unisex wear and appearing in four shades: Light Green, Light Blue, Tofu, and Lilac.

Designed and hand finished in Italy, the sneaker lives up to founder Leonardo Servardio’s passion for quality and attention to detail in tailored sportswear and lifestyle. The LSR takes a sleek silhouette whilst also prioritising comfort and fit.

The LSR is available now in stores and at selected retailers, and will be available on the ellesse website from the 26th September. Keep up with the latest from ellesse by visiting their Instagram page.
