Berghaus is on the hunt for members of the public to feature in the company’s future marketing campaigns. The brand has issued a call for hikers, climbers and other outdoor enthusiasts to put the latest Berghaus gear through its paces in a series of photoshoots that will take place this year.
The company is recruiting a bank of people who it can call on to appear during shoots in a variety of UK outdoor locations throughout 2017, starting next month.
Berghaus has planned its first photoshoot of 2017 for the end of March and will hold a casting session earlier the same month. Successful candidates will need to be available for one to two days during the period of a photoshoot and be expected to participate in some of the outdoor activities that they love.
All they need to do is turn up – Berghaus will provide payment, accommodation, and kit. Images taken during the photoshoots will feature in Berghaus’ trade and consumer marketing campaigns, reaching millions of people. The brand will also use material provided by its team of sponsored athletes, including Leo Houlding, Mick Fowler, Angelika Rainer, Molly Thompson-Smith and Sir Chris Bonington.
Anyone who is interested in featuring in Berghaus photoshoots should send an email to photoshoot@berghaus.com with a couple of photos and personal details (see ‘Note to editors’ below).
Selfies will be considered and the company is particularly keen to receive outdoor action images. Berghaus does need to be able to see faces clearly, so submissions with glasses or goggles should be avoided.
