We’re proud to share that Berghaus has won Ad of the Day from both The Drum and Marketing Beat for its latest campaign, The Biggest Day of Summer – a five part social film series launched ahead of this month’s much anticipated Oasis homecoming gigs.
Created in collaboration with creative agency OK COOL, the campaign is a love letter to outdoor optimism and British cultural spirit. Each film follows a different group of friends on a mission to find the perfect spot to soak up the sun, while showcasing the bold personality and everyday versatility of the Berghaus SS25 Icons capsule.
Along the way, viewers are treated to local humour, nostalgic vibes, and a surprise cameo from Bez of the Happy Mondays – bringing a playful energy that’s completely in step with the brand’s irreverent roots.
The campaign also marks the return of an icon: the Meru Mountain Jacket, famously worn by Liam Gallagher in the 90s, reissued as part of the new collection and styled throughout the films.
Shot on location, cast with real people, and made for social first storytelling, the series is currently running across Instagram and TikTok, supported by paid media.
Ben Earnshaw, Content and Community Lead at Berghaus says: “The Oasis tour isn’t just about the music, it’s a full-on cultural moment. We knew many people would be showing up for the style, a dose of nostalgia and maybe a bit of sunshine if they were lucky. With The Biggest Day of Summer, we wanted Berghaus and the iconic Meru jacket to be right the centre of this. Not as a sponsor, but as a part of story. From real people to Bez doing what only Bez can do, it’s a proper celebration of British energy and humour. We’re buzzing that it’s been so well received by the consumer and recognised by key outlets like The Drum and Marketing Beat.”
Congratulations to the teams at Berghaus for creating work that feels both true to the brand and totally of the moment!
