Mitre Launches New Ultimax pro inspired by Global connection, as the official Match Ball of TST 2025’s $1 million tournament

Mitre has unveiled the official match ball for the highly anticipated The Soccer Tournament (TST), taking place from June 4th–9th, 2025, in Cary, North Carolina. The ball is vibrant and bold, inspired by the global spirit of TST.

Now in its third year, TST brings together both Men’s and Women’s teams from across the globe, each competing for a $1 million dollar prize in a fast-paced 7×7 knockout format. The Mitre Ultimax Pro has been used in the tournament since the start.

A bold design

Inspired by the competition’s diverse players, clubs, and international spirit, the Ultimax Pro’s new design celebrates travel and global connection. The design also features a playful nod to the tournament’s knockout format with the bold “Winner Takes All” slogan, while bumper stickers represent the cultural vibrancy of the USA, where the tournament takes place.

In addition, the ball pays homage to the town of Cary. Its unique ‘Delta’ (chevron) patterns are inspired by the town’s topography, with contour lines directly taken from mapping data. This thoughtful detail makes the Ultimax Pro not just a match ball, but a tribute to Cary’s WakeMed Soccer Park—the venue where the tournament will take place.

More than just a Beautifully designed ball

The Ultimax Pro is the culmination of over 200 years of Mitre’s football craftsmanship and innovation. As the official match ball of TST 2025, the Ultimax Pro boasts FIFA Quality Pro accreditation, ensuring it meets the highest standards for performance, durability, and flight consistency.

The Ultimax Pro features a four-panel construction that reduces seams, offering an expanded sweet spot and a more precise striking surface. Mitre’s Hyperseal technology thermally bonds the ball’s seams, allowing the ball to maintain its shape and integrity throughout the tournament.

The Ultimax Pro incorporates Mitre’s Hyperfoam technology, delivering optimal responsiveness by balancing cushioning and power with every touch. Hyperflow debossed grooves help to manipulate airflow, enhancing in-flight accuracy and stability – making this ball an ideal performer for TST’s fast-paced 7×7 format.

Mitre has made sure fans don’t miss out on the excitement of the tournament by offering a full range of supporter’s footballs. Available in training and mini versions, these balls let fans take home a piece of the action.
