Job title: Trading Finance Manager – Teamwear & Digital
This role will provide financial management for the teamwear channel, making sure we provide best in class visibility, challenge and decision making support. From a P&L perspective, this role will provide financial management of the Teamwear channel P&L, including budgeting, forecasting and monthly outlooks. In addition the role will help develop weekly and monthly KPI reporting across the digital channel (Pentland E-commerce and market places) to help track performance.

The role you’d play:
+ Provide financial acumen and insight for any EMEA Teamwear led business cases and commercial opportunities
+ Provide financial analysis and support to develop a profitable Direct to Consumer business, price list, trade terms, gift of kit etc.
+ Responsible for the preparation and challenge of EMEA Teamwear channel P&L budget, forecast and monthly outlooks through to Trading Profit (including marketing spend), leveraging analyst capability within the broader team and the Functional Costs team for non-trading costs
+ Hold the EMEA Teamwear channel Trading team to account for performance, obtaining external insight and data to challenge delivery and KPI benchmarking
+ Financial management of all Teamwear channel Marketing spend, providing forecasts, data and insight into the Product and Marketing Finance team
+ Identify opportunities and risks on the Teamwear channel P&L, holding the Account Managers and Customer Directors to account and providing finance support in converting/mitigating the risks/ops and course correction
+ Develop weekly, monthly KPI reporting across the Direct to Consumer channel (E-commerce, market place and teamwear) e.g. sales, returns, average selling price, margin, sessions, conversion rate
What you will bring:
+ Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years PQE, ideally with experience in Commercial business partnering, channel and customer oversight and advanced Excel ability
+ Confidence and experience to challenge at an Account Manager and Customer Director level, paired with the ability and willing to get into the detail
+ Experience/understanding in financial management of a Business Unit P&L
+ Digital channel experience or understanding, including KPIs and performance indicators
+ Innovative and entrepreneurial in your mindset, creatively able to challenge and influence both cash and profit
+ Excellent communication skills, articulating financial and non-financial information concisely and simply, identifying the ‘so what?’
+ Evidence of collaboration in a matrix organisation, building strong relationships with multiple functions and different levels of seniority
+ Engender a great team spirit and always seek to deliver the best outcome for the business, championing delivery and high performance + Ruthless efficiency and an acceptance of the 80:20 principle
