We are looking for a Market Insights Manager who is passionate about the power of insights and the value it brings to a business. You will help us answer questions like “where are my opportunities to grow”, “how am I performing” and “who is my consumer” via holistic market understanding and excellent analysis, brought to life through creative storytelling.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong analyst and strategic thinker to influence the strategies of a range of iconic brands, across a highly varied and global remit.

About the role:

  • Managing our new social listening platform: working closely with our brand and digital teams to deliver consistent and impactful consumer insights that move our business forward.
  • Market reporting: effectively synthesising data streams to produce comprehensive reports on the US and European markets, identifying business opportunities and risks.
  • Brand performance analytics: support the delivery of global analytics, working closely with our data engineers and the wider Insights team to build impactful reports that highlight our strengths and weaknesses. Constantly seek ways to better our understanding.
  • Trend forecasting: deliver relevant trends content that engages, excites, and inspires our stakeholders, working closely with our forecasting partner.
  • First Party Datasets: support the Digital Insights Manager on the contextualisation and application of new first party ecommerce datasets, delivering holistic performance understanding and business recommendations.
  • Managing our Insights portal: enabling greater self-service via easy access to up-to-date information and tools.
  • Promote our Insights-led culture via the delivery of engaging internal communications 

About you

  • At least 4 years’ experience in Insight from either client-side, agency, or consulting
  • Experience with global, product-based businesses (Apparel, FMCG, Manufacturing) would be beneficial.
  • Have experience working with market data platforms such as Kantar and NPD, with a strong history of applying these datasets to deliver growth.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights with business-led recommendations and proven strategic thinking.
  • Ideally have experience working with social listening products, particularly Sprinklr

*Pentland Brands are moving their London Hub to Farringdon in June 2024. This role will initially be based in our current London Hub based in Finchley. At the point at which the Company establishes its office in Farringdon the normal place of work for this role shall be automatically redesignated to that location.
