WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
As Speedo’s Global Social Media and Community Manager, you will be responsible for executing the global social media strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and building an engaging community. Your primary focus will be to own the ideation and execution of social content, collaborating with the creative team to drive consumer engagement and grow our platforms. You will concentrate on content creation, compelling narratives, and influencer marketing to expand Speedo’s digital presence across key markets. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Social & Community, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, product, creative, paid social and external agencies, to ensure cohesive and effective social media initiatives that align with our brand heritage and business objectives.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
As our Global Social Media and Community Manager you will be responsible for:
Execute and support the development of short- and long-term social media strategies across all platforms, ensuring alignment with brand marketing, product launches, and business goals. Adapt global strategies to meet regional marketing initiatives.
Own the ideation and execution of social content, collaborating with the creative team to create compelling, on-brand content that resonates with diverse global audiences. Focus on captivating narratives and innovative approaches that reflect Speedo’s brand principles and commitment to excellence.
Actively engage and grow Speedo’s digital community, leveraging insights and industry trends to create meaningful interactions with our audience across social platforms.
Collaborate with the Global Head of Social & Community to manage and optimise influencer and affiliate programmes, building strong relationships with content creators, ambassadors, and influencers to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to execute cohesive social media strategies:
Partner with marketing and product teams to align social media content with product launches and brand campaigns.
Collaborate with the creative team and agencies to produce high-quality, on-brand content that meets marketing objectives.
Collaborate with the Sports Marketing team to brief ambassadors on content creation.
Manage and optimise customer review platforms, ensuring timely and authentic responses to social media comments, and maintaining positive brand sentiment and engagement.
Support data analytics efforts to measure and optimise the performance of social media campaigns. Assist in providing monthly reports on KPIs, trends, and insights to inform future strategies.
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?

Experience in executing social media strategies for major brands, with a strong focus on content creation and community engagement.
Understanding of influencer marketing and experience in managing relationships with content creators and ambassadors.
Proven ability to create engaging, on-brand content that resonates across diverse markets.
Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with internal teams and external agencies.
Data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage insights to optimise social media performance.
A passion for social media, digital marketing, and building online communities.
