Key Purpose of the Job:

Process focused, working in conjunction with factories as well as Pentland Garment Lead QA & Technical team to advance factory capability and responsibility in quality assurance initiatives. 
Risk assessment at development stage, seal sample approval, quality issues solving and continuous improvement to ensure all processes lead to premium product.

Job Holder Needs to Do:
Sample approval: checking fitting, construction and workmanship for each round of samples. Provide the technical support to vendor and head office as well.
Risk assessment for potential issues. Have capability of finding out root cause to shot problem and prevent in future.
Quality issues solving and continuous improvement: support lead PD and technical team to define the root causes and action plans for the quality issues from market defective returns and daily in-line and final inspection. Support the quality continuous improvement projects to continuously drive Pentland Garment quality standards and Quality Manual
Drive PP sampling approval and participate into the PP meetings. Raise concerns, follow up pending issues to be solved in production
Drive, monitor and report key quality performance indicators from the assigned vendors

What you need to have

  • Garment construction & pattern engineering to improve fit and cost margin
  • In depth Garment manufacturing processes in a factory environment
  • Better understanding of fabrics, trims and related testing
  • Good communication skills both verbally and electronically in a multi-cultural environment

What we need to see in you

  • Graduated from textile engineering/garment design background
  • Travel frequently
