You will be responsible for the coordination and project management of design activity, overseeing critical path, timelines and project tracking and PLM system management. You will support the Design team in the creation of design presentations, range overviews and all other seasonal materials.


You will provide the team with the optimum tools and processes required to deliver irresistible products from initial brief to final tech-packs and marketing assets in the optimum manner. Helps make sure that seasonal activity across the Brand is well planned, synchronised and supported. Fulfilment of key design process administration.


The role you’d play


  • Attending key meetings and having full oversight of all design critical paths and support required to achieve them.
  • Driving design deliverables, building project plans, status reporting and highlighting risks and opportunities against multiple seasonal and long-term brand calendars including SMU, NPD and innovation projects.
  • Working with senior design team on project tracking and efficiency, providing regular updates and adjustments.
  • Managing the design administration to support delivery of seasonal needs across the division.
  • Uploading and managing data using Product Line Management system.
  • Working with the Product Management team and Operations Critical Path Manager to help coordinate SMU projects and timings, managing commercial and brand requirements.
  • Identifying, understanding and synchronising multiple workstreams and interdependencies that are required for successful delivery of Design initiatives.
  • Setting up and coordinating key design meetings and signoffs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Building, maintaining and improving all seasonal range presentation material, working in conjunction with the Design Team.
  • Coordinating standard design documents improvements to ensure consistency of deliverables (e.g. trim documents, branding guidelines, standard constructions).
  • Maintaining design guideline documentation - ensuring it’s up to date and complete with all branding, trim and applications.
  • Ownership of seasonal illustrator libraries, managing colour palettes, range overviews and product illustration standards.
  • Creating presentation templates, preparing and standardising CADs and refining presentation work for key meetings, sell ins, and range guides.
  • Co-ordinating with Graphics and Art teams to deliver the seasonal range catalogue creation requirements.
  • Managing the design software and tools, ensuring we are always up to date and current with technology.
  • Working with key external partners such as Adobe to identify improvements and arrange training within the team.
  • Maximising the output and creativity of the design team, introducing new ways of working and process improvements and streamlining.
  • Providing day-to-day Mac and artwork support to Design colleagues.
  • Archiving and building libraries of all works, in an efficient and effective way.
  • Maintaining the seasonal server and responsible for archiving all works.
  • Working across a matrix structure with key functions and stakeholders.


What you’d bring



  • Ability to manage multiple critical paths and processes across ranges, categories & channel
  • Understanding and experience in design process, guidelines and implementation
  • Experience in co-ordinating and supporting delivery of successful considered and desirable design
  • Strong presentation and artwork abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe creative Suite (CS6): Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Illustrator
  • Mac literate with good Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and motivate others and themselves
  • Adaptable, versatile and open minded attitude
