The role you’d play:

 

+     Support the Amazon commercial team to plan the seasonal product selection and associated inventory levels in line with department budget targets and strategy

+     Accountable for providing accurate weekly and monthly inventory & stock reports (including monthly and end of season reviews on SKU productivity, sell through etc.)

+     Responsible for demand forecasting on a weekly basis for our brands on the Amazon platform across Europe

+     Providing demand forecast recommendations to ensure delivery of all marketing campaigns, business focus areas, trials and events.

+     Stock planning and pro-active inventory management to maximise availability and mitigate excess stock holding risks

+     Support the commercial team with ‘out of stocks’ to secure availability from free stock

+     Capture lost sales analysis to understand how we can refine our future sales forecast

+     Supporting the wider Channel Merchandising team with workload across other channels as required

 

The must haves:

 

+     Previous experience working with Amazon in either a merchandising, demand planning, commercial or data analysis role

+     High numeracy levels with a keen eye for detail.

+     Can demonstrate sound decision-making based on intuition and judgement

+     Good communication and excellent team player, confident dealing with colleagues at all levels including management

+     Effective time management, organisation and prioritisation skills

+     Use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

+     Highly analytical with strong (advanced) excel skills

+     Commercially aware to maximise sales and profit opportunities

+     Able to be hands-on and self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines
