WHAT’S THE MISSION FOR THIS ROLE?
This role is to join the 3D team supporting Pentland’s strategy to evolve the way that we design, develop, and sell our products. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate, with a strong understanding of CLO3D and experience of working on fast paced projects. Working across our family of brands, this role will be responsible for supporting the 3D Technical Lead in ensuring effective creation of 3D assets.
WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
- As our 3D Product Creator you will be responsible for:
- Translating designs into 3D samples that represent physical products
- Producing 3D samples that are used in digital catalogues
- Collaborating with Design, Product Development and Merchandising teams to gather the necessary inputs (these include patterns, tech packs and materials)
- Aligning to the critical path and following the seasonal development timelines closely
- Responsible for maintaining 3D libraries of blocks, fabrics and trims
- Responsible for ensuring all files are correctly named using specified naming conventions
- Maintaining 3D quality standards manual
- Supporting Design and Development teams with 3D queries
- Supporting with any other ad-hoc duties as required
WHAT DO I BRING TO THE ROLE?
- To stand out in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
- Proficient in CLO3D
- Experience with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams).
- Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of Blender
- Basic knowledge of garment construction and pattern making
- Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- A clear passion for digitization and 3D
- Effective time management skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
- You will be a good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- You will have strong attention to detail and positive can-do attitude
- You are flexible and adaptable to change
- Ability to work independently or within a team and travel to different Pentland sites as the role requires
